A.H.E.A.R.T

AHEART stands for All Hearts Educating, Advocating, Restoring and Transforming the lives of infants and families. Our mission at AHEART is to provide emergency assistance to infants in crisis, prevent out of home placement, decrease infant mortalities by providing essential infant items, and partnering with community members and organizations to advocate for the lives of infants and their families. AHEART is comprised of all volunteers and donated goods and is free for those that are in serious need of assistance.

Our Programs

  • Boutique & Diaper Bank

    We provide assistance with clothing, diapers, and wipes every month for eligible families. Appointments can be made on the AHEART website - www.AHEARTministries.org

  • Referrals

    Eligibility starts with a referral from a social service agency, DCPP, case manager, hospital, school nurse, or one of our partnered organization.

  • B.U.R.P

    The Baby Urgency Response Program gives expecting mothers a bag filled with newborn essential items two weeks before their due date.

  • Baby Showers

    Fun and entertaining baby showers are our main resource for clothing donation. We can then give back by hosting community baby showers for expecting mothers.

  • Community Mega Baby Shower

    July 2021 - We hosted a fun baby shower and provided 25 infants with basic nursery furniture, diapers, car seats, strollers, and so much more.

  • A Heart of Thanksgiving

    November 2021 - Clothing, diapers, wipes, and food giveaway. Partnership with Giolden Gate Community Center.

  • COVID-19 Relief

    April 2021 - In partnership with Golden Gate Community Center and local organizations, we hosted an event filled with free clothing, diapers, and raffles.

  • Infant Mortality Awareness

    September 2020 - We met concerned citizens about the hospital procedures in our local community.

  • Leading Ladies Luncheon

    February 2020 - We met with community leaders regarding Black Infant Mortality in NJ.

  • Rattle the Holidays

    December 2020 - A donation drive event where we share the infant community’s most pressing issues.

  • Infants in Crisis Mega Shower

    July 2019 - Collecting items for infants in crisis

  • NJ Family First Conference

    September 2019 - Advocating for infants with First Lady Tammy Murphy, Atlantic City community organizations, and their leaders.

  • AHEART Anniversary Awards

    April 2019 - Honoring past and present AHEART volunteers for their dedicated service.

  • Infants in Crisis Mega Shower

    July 2018 - Thanks to local organizations like St Augustine Prep, we collected infant items for babies in need.

  • Hurricane Sandy Relief

    December 2012 - Providing infant items to families who needed infant supplies after losing it in the Hurricane Sandy Superstorm.

  • Free Infant Items

    Infant products that are donated to AHEART go to eligible infants and their caregivers for free. Infants must be under age 2. Items given are diapers, wipes, clothing, car seats, cribs, high chairs, formula, and much more!

  • Donations

    We receive corporate, local organization, and individual donations of brand new items like car seats, strollers, and other infant furniture or hygiene products. We accept gently used clothing, blankets, and toys.

  • Volunteers

    No one at AHEART is paid to provide services. They each do it out of the kindness of their hearts. They are committed to advocating, educating, restoring, and transforming the lives of infants and their caregivers.
